If anyone can suggest something to track To Dos, Appointments AND Contacts, other than Act, please comment. The essence of the software is not entirely dissimilar to iCal, but it is endlessly more useful thanks to the sheer range of features and options it includes. This is what I need and would be willing to pay for it if it worked. Of course, Opus Domini can also be used in the work environment, and the app includes all of the tools you need to schedule and keep track of your appointments and meetings. Tech support did not respond when I submitted a ticket. It allows you to organize your tasks into categories (Master Tasks, Daily Tasks and SubTasks), order them according to your priorities using a letter-number. I've tried shutting down both apps and restarting, checking sync settings (not that they are documented). Sometimes things sync, but most often, they don't. I need to input To dos and appointments in the iPad, because of the larger screen and visibility of the right-hand notes page, but I need to view, edit and manage these items in my iPhone 5 while I'm in the field. The documentation is attractive, but after jumping back and forth to the Table of Contents, I found the procedural flow disorganized, and the app does NOT work as documented. Love the visual layout and think it has the ability to be an incredible tool, but it doesn't sync between devices- even iDevices. Being able to move tasks from one day to another, change the status, have an ongoing master list, etc. I can systematically rank my tasks from A1 (most priority) to D4 (least priority), and I can make each one as Completed, In Progress, Delegate, Forward or Scheduled. The fact that is able to integrate your iCal. About the task management - it sort of reminds me of the Stephen Covey planner I used to have, but a lot less bulkier. Would have paid for a working version of this in a heart beat. Opus Domini is a very good looking application that allows you to actually enjoy organizing your day while offering an intuitive and efficient workflow. Sadly, I can't get through to this app's online support either. I am still looking for another version of this app made by someone else. I'm not spending money to buy the pro version if the free version doesn't even work properly. I read the other reviews and decided to take a chance as I NEED this app - but sadly I arrived at the same place of disappointment and frustration as others. So, every day going forward looks the same. But, now every time I add a task it makes the task repeat indefinitely, without creating a repeat rule. It's a digital form of the planner that keeps a person's daily life organized - using the A1,2,3 B1,2,3, C1,2,3 prioritizing method. Plan your tasks for the following day.I love the fact that this app works like a paper planner book and gives functionality no other app on the market seems to do. Take 15 minutes each evening to see what progress you've made and to move, delegate, or delete tasks and add new ones. Select your default calendar and whether to show or hide other calendars listed. To change the schedules that display from iCal, click/tap on Opus Domini > Preferences > Calendar. You can also insert images, links and documents using copy and paste. Make notes on the right side page throughout the day. Click options to Show Goals and Show Compass Items. If you want to see your goals and compass items on this page, click/tap Opus Domini > Preferences > Daily Tasks.You can also forward all uncompleted tasks to the next day. Click/tap on the left corner of the task for a pull-down menu that let's you mark the task as completed, delegate it, mark it "in progress", delete it or forward it, or send it to Master Tasks if there's no due date, but you don't want to lose track of it.tasks are important, but the world will not end if they don't get done. are tasks that absolutely must be done that day. List each task on its deadline or due date.
